I have the privilege of being the parish minister here at the Unitarian Church of Calgary.

My life journey has taken me to various places and it is a pleasure to be back in a prairie province. Having grown up in Saskatoon, I spent a number of years working in the theatre as an actor and as a stage manager. I love the arts and yet always felt torn between theatre and theology. Both offered exciting ways of exploring the nature of reality.

After spending time living and working in Montreal and Vancouver, I finally felt ready to become a minister. After finishing a Masters of Arts degree in religious studies at the University of British Columbia, I completed my training for ministry at Vancouver School of Theology.

I have been a Unitarian Universalist since 1993. I grew up in the United Church of Canada, and when I was a young adult, there came a point when my understanding of the world no longer matched that of the church of my childhood. I knew then it was time to pursue another path. When I came to the Unitarians, I knew I had found my religious home.
