Right as Rain

Youth Program
- After consulting with this year's youth and their families, we are pleased to announce the curriculum and format for the 2010-2011 Youth Group!
- Who: Youth between the ages of 13 and 20.
- What: Popcorn Theology for Youth. Popcorn Theology takes the concept and popularity of movie night to explore issues of theology and ethics for Unitarian Universalists. Each session has a selected excerpt which lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes to allow for the one-hour class format; however, the entire movie may be shown in a longer format and used with additional suggested activities and discussion questions.
- When: Two Sunday mornings per month plus the 1st Friday evening of the month (optional) for a full movie screening (friends are welcome to join us).
- Where: Unitarian Church of Calgary, Youth Room, 10:45 - 11:45 AM for Sunday sessions.
- How: Complete a Registration Form and pay the registration fee of $10.00 (financial aid available).
Dates to Note
- Sunday, September 12, 10:30 AM: Multi-generational Ingathering service.
- Sunday, September 26, 10:30 AM: First youth group session. Start upstairs at 10:30 AM, then downstairs to the Youth Room at 10:45.
- Friday, October 1: First film night - "Back to the Future"
